What we can do for you

We see our role as helping you in a problem-solving capacity. This might involve us in helping you in the development of a new product or process, or in helping you to trouble-shoot newly encountered problems in existing activities.

Early involvement is key

Our function will be to provide you with either technical expertise, or more likely, in performing some tests or other laboratory work to investigate a specific issue.

All of our previous experience in these activities has taught us that it is unlikely that you will want a science lesson from us, but a practical solution to your problem or requirement.

We have undertaken work involving metals, alloys, plastics, rubbers and ceramic materials.  Areas of expertise include:

• Chemical analysis

• Corrosion / compatibility testing

• Materials selection

• Precision cleaning

• Passivation

• The design and construction of test hardware

• Literature review and assessment

We have extensive experience of supporting manufacturing activities in terms of materials selection, failure analysis and contamination control and identification.

An extensive network of contacts has been established over many years, so that if we cannot complete a job in-house, we will quickly find associates to assist us. Our objective is to provide a "one-stop" centre for all forms of chemical and materials test and evaluation.
